He was predeceased by : his parents, Chalmers Aaron Shoemaker II and Dorothy Maxine Burnett. He is survived by : his sister Madelyn S. Dean (William) of Fort Worth, TX; his children, Deanna Beth Shoemaker (Morris Jurgensen) of Neptune, NJ and James Aaron Shoemaker (Tana) of Coleman, TX; his grandchildren, Jake Shoemaker (Shelby Graham) of Alpine, TX, Zane Shoemaker (Bailey) of San Angelo, TX, Aaron Blue Hunt of Neptune, NJ and Payton April Shoemaker; his great grandchild Miller James Shoemaker; and also Linda Deanne Shoemaker of San Angelo, TX..

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Belvedere Memorial Park (3504 Arden Rd, San Angelo, TX 76901).
