He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Jackson Plott II and Hattie Magdaline Plott. He is survived by: his wife Jill Plott; his children, Kari Plott and Chase Plott (Amanda); his granddaughter Lily Plott; his brothers, Bill Plott (Nancy) and Jerry Plott; his nieces, Mary Plott Leach and Maggie Plott Davenport; his siblings-in-law, Ira O'Neal Westbrook, Jeff Reneau and Judith Reneau Westbrook; and his nieces and nephews, Ira "Ty" Westbrook, Charles Naivar, Lori Westbrook Lasly and Lacy Westbrook Groves.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to Glen Meadows Baptist Church Fund.
