She was predeceased by: her parents, David Cruz and Francisca Juarez Cruz; and her siblings, Benito Cruz, Henry Cruz, Pablo Cruz, Anita Rojas, Luisa Martínez and Herminia Vasquez.
She is survived by: her children, Toni Garcia, Elma Elizondo (Homero) of San Antonio, Gilbert Gallegos (Sylvia), Teresa Gallegos, Gerard Gallegos of San Angelo and George Gallegos (Angela) of Colleyville; her grandchildren, Analisa McCain Iliana (Casey), Leana Escobar (Kevin), Adriana Elizondo (Robert Ferguson), Nina Gallegos, Mishelle Sherman (Taylor) and Tomás Gallegos; her great grandchildren, Isabella Stone, Grant, Flora McCain, Claire, James Homero Barnes and Emilia Elizabeth Escobar; her siblings, David Cruz (Olga), Mary Minor (Ramiro), Ramona McClellen (George), Ramon Cruz, Richard Cruz of San Angelo, TX and Mario Cruz (Maria) of Austin, TX; and her sister-in-law Rita Martínez of San Antonio. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in her memory.
