He is survived by: his mother Mary Rosella "Rosie" Fiedler Ries; his wife Lynn Ries; his children, Nick Ries and Lexi Zak (Bryce); his granddaughters, Addison "Addi" and Berkeley Zak; his mother-in-law Sandra Owen; his siblings, Scott (Carol), Rose (Brent), Brian, Terri (Ken), Connie (Elzbeth) and Amanda (Sam); and his pet Maggie May. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
