He was predeceased by: his parents, Marcus Hale and Ruth Hale; and his wife Melba Hale. He is survived by: his sister Yvonne Kay; his brother-in-law Keith; his brother Eddie; his sister-in-law Molly; his daughter Catrina Shafer; his grandchildren, Whitney and Joshua Barnett; his great grandchildren, Xiana and Eviana Luckey; his grandchildren, Lynnix and Kreed Barnett; his sisters-in-law, Edith Zimmerman and Wanda Hudson; and his extended family, Robert and Erlinda Carmona. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.
