“Dear Cindy and Family, Danny and I were in the LEP class in early January 2008 and deployed together to Iraq. By then Danny was a veteran in the mid-East. He was a warm, funny guy with a heart of gold. We were roommates for a short time at FOB Loyalty. Both of us worked at the National Training Center at Ft. Irwin. He replaced me when I went to NGIC in Virginia. We stayed in touch over the years, mostly on social media. He loved his family and his country. God bless you, Danny, and Godspeed.”
