She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Jr. Baker and Bonnie Muston Baker; her brother Milton Eugene Baker; her daughter Redaina Kaufman; her stepson John Smart; and her grandson Kevin Ohlemacher.

She is survived by: her husband Tommy Smart; her brother Ron Baker; her sons, Cam Ohlemacher and Darold Ohlemacher; and her stepsons, Dan Smart and Paul Smart. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cedar Manor or St. Gabriel's Hospice in Kay's name.
