He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Ray Herode and Josie Fulkerson; his brother Paul "Bimbo" Herode; his stepmother Ida Herode; his children, Karla Herode of San Angelo, Hayley Harper (Matthew) of Hamlin, Johnny Herode of Midland and Wesley Herode of Abilene; and his siblings, Joyce Webb of West Chester, Ohio and Chris Stewart (Pam) of San Angelo. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
