He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leo Pelzel and Doris Ann Gerngross Pelzel; his wife Janice Carol Fickling; his grandson Christian; his niece Kylie; and his pets, Hilda, Rowdy and Suzy.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Leo Pelzel (Tasha) of Robert Lee, TX, Janice Katherine Novian (David) of San Angelo, TX, DeDe Ann Smith (Shane) of Ira, TX and Mikel D. Pelzel (Sommer) of Miles, TX; and his sisters, Ann Theresa Johnson (Damon) of Snyder, TX and Marie Agnes Stewart (Lyn) of Eager, AZ. He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and numerous other family members.
