With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Lynn Hail Waller (San Angelo, Texas), who passed away on January 20, 2026 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bessie Shaw Hail and Fred Monroe Hail. She is survived by: her daughters, Melissa Gillespie (Joshua Gillespie) and Michelle Phelps (Brian Long); her grandchildren, Kayden Gillespie, Blake Long, Savanah Phelps (Joshua Baken) and Stetson Phelps (Miranda Phelps); her great grandchildren, Aubrey Phelps, Cooper Phelps and Kinsley Phelps; and her pet Willie.
If you prefer, in lieu of flowers, the family appreciates donations in Deb's honor to be made to "Train a Dog, Save a Warrior", http://www.tadsaw.org, an organization that matches service members or veterans in need with a shelter dog and provides training, both causes close to Deb's heart.
