We are sad to announce that, on August 21, 2021, at the age of 63, Edward A. Lopez (San Angelo, Texas) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Edward A. Lopez to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Domingo C. Lopez; and his stepfather Arturo G. Benitez. He is survived by: his wife Maria M. Martinez; his daughter Alexi Martinez; his mother Belia A. Benitez; his siblings, Sylvia Bauchman (Gary) of New York, Nelda Garcia (David), Robert Lopez (Tiffanie) and Brenda Izaguirre (Edgar Izaguirre) of Austin, Texas.; his nephews, Kristopher Lopez (Jordan), Caleb Garcia, Alex Moya-Lopez and Christian Panter; his great-nieces, Nelda Faye Lopez and Zara Brynn Brannan; and his great-nephew Titus Dax Brannan.

He was fully vaccinated but COVID-19 ravaged his lungs and kidneys due to others not exhibiting the same wisdom. The family wants to thank Shannon Hospital COVID-19 ICU staff for the excellent care given with a special appreciation to Dr. Wood and Emily (Emy) Emmons, RN.
