It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Jordan Smith of San Angelo, Texas, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 25, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfathers, Rick Nester and Ronnie Smith; and her pet Maeve. She is survived by: her parents, Todd Smith and Sandy Smith; her brother Brandon Smith (Maya Rietz); her fiancé Aaron Benson; her faithful kitty Lynyrd Skynyrd BenSmith (Lenny); her grandmother Pam Nester; her extended family, Lisa, Greg Williams, Shana, Stephen Freeman, Mandy Smith, Keith, Lee and Jessica Nester; and her cousins, Sloan Smith, Raegan Smith, Justin Smith, Clara Nester, Addie Nester, Karlyn Williams and Alexandra Williams-Carroll.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904).
