She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer E. Moreland and Ruby E. Moreland of Bayard; her sister Fleta Mae; her brother-in-law Richard Cox; her sisters, Phyllis and Helen; her brother-in-law Charles Finnegan; and her brother Clifford Moreland.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Short of Palmer, Sherry Wilkin (Jeff) of Arvada, Colorado, Mark Short (Vicki) of Belton, Texas, Pam Hoyt (Gordon) of Toyah, Texas and Theresa Morgan (Tim) of Port Washington, Wisconsin.. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rundus Funeral Home & Crematory (1998 W 10th Ave, Broomfield, CO 80020).
