He was predeceased by: his parents, Dionicio Hernandez and Maria Luisa Hernandez; and his brother Javier Hernández. He is survived by: his wife Josefina Hernández of Knickerbocker Texas; his children, Leslie Hernández, Patricia Bogs (Tristan Bogs), Andres Hernández (Ashlee Hernández) and Luis Hernández (Nicole Hernández); his grandchildren, Izaiah, Klyre Bogs, Eli, Isabella Hernández, Kayde, Alex and Addison Hernández; and his siblings, Patricia Hernández, Isabel Rubio, Julieta Martucci, Dionicio "Chino" Hernández, Lourdes Jenkins and Maria Luisa Propst (Salvador Hernández).
