It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Threlkeld in San Angelo, Texas, born in Newport News, Virginia, who passed away on May 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his pets, Thunder, Von Baron, Alaskan Malamute, Sedona, Kachina and Iny; his wife Karen "Annie" Threlkeld; and his children, Kim Ellis, Alana Threlkeld, Shannon Threlkeld, Alason Anderson and Jason Burney.
The family wishes donations be sent in his memory to the Carroll Shelby Foundation, which helps children with coronary disease and kidney transplants, or the Mayo Clinic Foundation Transplant Center.
