He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Spring and Wilma Spring; his stepdaughter Lisa Purdy; and his in-laws, Hickson and Ava Lee Murray.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Murray; his brother-in-law Phil Murray (Susanne) of San Angelo; his brother Doug (Dru Ann) of Uvalde; and his niece Melanie (Jeff) of Cypress, TX..
