He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Bolin; and his father-in-law Frank Garcia. He is survived by: his mother Linda Bolin; his wife Michelle Garcia; his children, Zachary David, Joshua James and Emily Michelle; his sister Cindy Dierschke (Robert); his niece Megan; his brother Robert (Karen); his niece Maloree; his nephew Drew; and his daughter Andrea Garcia Narsh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and two great nieces. And numerous family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Kindred Hospice, University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, or a charity of choice.
