With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James A. Ward of San Angelo, Texas, born in Lubbock, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2022 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father William E. Ward; his son Dallas; his grandparents, Gene, Marina Ward, John King and Martha Stewart Baker; and his parents-in-law, George and Dolly Diebel.

He is survived by : his mother Reta Ward; his wife Kathy; his sons, Jordan (Hayley) and Jacob (Chelsea); his grandson Micah; and his siblings, Marina Kastner and John (Susan). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many great friends.

He was blessed with a double lung transplant in 2011 and was a champion for the cause of organ donation.
