He was predeceased by: his stepmother Leora Gilmore; his sister-in-law Nancy Scott; and his nephews, Taylor Scott and Isaac Griffith. He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Tom Gilmore and Patricia Walker Scott; his son Kane Scott (Jody) of Nashville, Tennessee; his brothers, Shay Scott (Debra), Matthew Gilmore (Jasmine), Mark Gilmore (Teresa), Larry Scott and Gary Scott; his grandchildren, Kinsley Lanay and Adessa Jayde Scott; and his former wife Melea Scott Alexander. He is also survived by children as well as other family and friends he loved.
