He was predeceased by: his parents, Natividad Gatica and Gabina Gatica; his children, Sylvia, Eddie and Rudy Gatica; and his great grandchildren, Zachary, Jayce, Hayden, Mason and Ethan Joe Gatica.
He is survived by: his wife Manuela; his child Sammy Gatica (Sylvia); and his grandsons, Eddie Joe (Jennifer), Sammy (Michelle), Joshua (Melissa), Jacob (Stephanie) and Orlando Gatica. He is also survived by his five sisters.
