She is survived by: her husband Donald Burney; her children, Carla Bradley (Jerry) of Whitney, TX, Rick Thomas (Debbie) of Menard, TX, Peggy Winger (Mark) of San Angelo and Jeremy Burney of Eden, TX; her grandchildren, Kacy, Terance, Sheldon, Jeremy, Jr. and Jared; and her siblings-in-law, Sandy Merrill of Abilene, TX, Virginia Merrill of Fort Worth, TX and Kermit Decker of Waco, TX.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Harper Funeral Home (2606 Southland Blvd, San Angelo, TX 76904). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sherwood Cemetery.
