He was predeceased by: his parents, Carey W. Hemphill and Christine Schooley Hemphill; and his brother Carroll Hemphill. He is survived by: his sons, Lyndon Ray Hemphill and Stanley Dwain Hemphill; his wife Shirley; his son Stan Hemphill; his daughter-in-law Diane Hemphill; his grandchildren, Brian Hemphill, Lauri Davenport, Whitnee Conner and Brooke Hemphill; his great grandchildren, Remi, Roen Davenport, Mallorie Conner and Kase Conner; his brother Jerell Hemphill (Peggy) of Pear Valley, TX; and his sisters-in-law, Martha Hemphill of Pear Valley, TX and Norma Sessom of McKinney, TX. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
