He is survived by: his wife Deborah Dell Gardner Sockwell; his children, Dustin Sockwell (Christi Sockwell), Jeremy Sockwell (Jannah Sockwell), Kristen Sockwell Wheeler (Michael Wheeler), Hayley, Reagan, Taylor and Piper; his grandchildren, Emmah, Jacen, Tegan, Nolen, Hadde and Jaxen; his great grandchild Oakleigh; and his grandchildren, Cooper and Reese.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 6:00 PM at 3015 Sherwood Way, San Angelo, TX 76901.
