He was predeceased by: his parents, Lennart Erickson and Mary Erickson (Kearns); his sister-in-law Mildred McVean (Bill) of Sierra Blanca; his sister Terry Erickson; his siblings-in-law, ReVe Lynn Ponder and Thomas "Tom" Ponder; William "Bill" and Verna Lynn.
He is survived by: his wife Sarabeth Lynn Erickson; his siblings, Patricia "Pat" Ritchie of Worcester Massachusetts and Brian Erickson (Janice) of Berthoud; his son Jefferson Gerald "J. G."; his grandchildren, Tyler Heidenheimer, Kaitlyn Heidenheimer, Zachary Heidenheimer, Ryan Heidenheimer, Jacob Kunert and Shaelee Kunert; and his caregivers, Judith, Seria, Chaplain Domingo, Sam, Mercedes of Kindred Hospice and Michael. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; great-nieces; and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers or plants, the family asks for donations to be made to either the Boy Scouts of America, The American Cancer Society or the Dixon Center for Military and Veterans Services.
