He was predeceased by: his father Robley McClellan (Bob); his son Robley Frank McClellan; his mother Grace Oweta Satterfield; and his stepfather Frank William Satterfield. He is survived by: his former spouse Frank William Satterfield; his son Michael Terrance McClellan (Mike); his wife Jessie Mae McClellan; his grandchildren, Cameron Bryson Foote and Elizabeth Mae McClellan; his great grandchild Blayze Kooper Foote; and his sisters, Joan Satterfield and Judith Simon.

In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Rob McClellan Memorials Scholarship Fund in care of the Terrell County Independent School District.
