He was predeceased by: his daughter Charlotte Diane; his wife Doris; his parents, Paul Lee and Ava Lee; his parents-in-law, Raymond (Novella), John (Kathleen), Jack (Elizabeth), Bill (Wilma), Martin, Curtis, Margarete (Curtis Crook) and Helen (Frank Swartz); and his brother-in-law James McKinney.
He is survived by: his grandchild Berit Calais; his children, Eddie Dehnel and Robin Dehnel (Eddie); his son-in-law Michael Smith; his siblings, Elizabeth McKinney and Paul Dehnel (Connie); and his sister-in-law Karen Dehnel. He is also survived by 13 nieces, and 14 nephews.
