He was predeceased by: his father Juan Sandoval; his wife Mary Garces; and his sister Ida Sercos. He is survived by: his mother Amelia Hernandez Sandoval (Lionel) of San Angelo; his children, Melissa Delarosa (Elsa) of San Angelo, Melinda Vasquez (Juvenal "Shorty"), Mary Alice Solis (Rey) of San Antonio, Art Gonzales, Jr. (Julie) of San Angelo and Robert "Bobby" Sandoval, Jr. (Jennifer) of San Angelo; and his siblings, Betty Espinosa (Melissa) of Houston, Gloria Perez (Mario) of San Angelo, John Sandoval (Toni) of Austin and Esmerelda Zamarron of League City. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
