He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter L. Pfluger and Jewel Blanche Pfluger of Eden, Texas.. He is survived by: his wife Susan Meadows Pfluger; his children, Walter W. Pfluger (Sheryl), Audrey L. Williams, Robert E. Pfluger (Katrina) of San Angelo, Texas, Claire Field (Steve) and James Cowden of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Genevieve Pfluger Mejia, Karl R. Pfluger (Cecilie), Sara E. Griffin (Lukas), Hayley J. Williams, Carson R. Pfluger (Meredith) and Pierce D. Pfluger; his great grandchildren, Vivian, Caroline and Juliana Pfluger; and his grandchildren, Analiese, Mary Carlisle, Adeline Mejia, Johnny, Alys Pfluger, Elaine Griffin, Lyla and Colette Pfluger.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity Lutheran Church of San Angelo (3536 Lutheran Wy, San Angelo, TX 76904).
