He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Daniel and Sylvia Daniel; his brother Wallace Daniel Jr.; and his grandson Carson Daniel. He is survived by: his wife Linda Daniel; his children, Debra Blair (Gerald), Dana Acosta and John Dusty Daniel (Holley); his grandchildren, Stephanie Godwin (Marshall), Rhett Blair (Krystal), Whitney Powell, Lindsey Powell, Taylor Powell, Camden Daniel, Colton Daniel, Rachel Light, Sarah Light and Chase Light (Tate); and his great grandchildren, Reagan, Brody, Hadleigh, Avery, Novalee, Jacobi and Kynlei.
