He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Evans and Mildred Evans; and his son Kevin Dean Evans. He is survived by: his wife Judy Stout; his daughter Kelly Childers (Tommy); his daughter-in-law Chelli Evans; his brother Lance Evans; and his grandchildren, Gary Lucas, Josh Little, Kristin Bone and Jake Childers. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
