Diaz; her close friend Clemente "Gato" Perez; her sons, Arturo, Jose Chappa and Joel Asebiz; her grandchildren, Barbara and Justin Chappa; and her siblings, Liboria Aceves and Manuel.

She is survived by: her sister Basilia Ramirez of San Angelo; her children, Adolfo Chappa of San Angelo and Mickie Escobar (Joe) of Abilene, TX.; her grandchildren, Melinda Chappa, Samantha G., Chris Escobar (Shona), Monica Bercot, Tito Tovias (Robin), Ted Tovias, John Duran (Nicole), David S. McCall, Nathan C. Estes (Travis), Derrick Chappa, Nicholas Chappa, Nick Chappa, Nathan Chappa, Mikala Bergstrom (Bet), Riley Chappa, Micheal J. Chappa and Aaron Chappa; and her children, Rosemary Cruz, Janie Chappa and Tony Rodriquez. She is also survived by 28 great grandchildren, 6 great great grandchildren and 2 great great great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
