He was predeceased by: his parents, William Glenn Rowland and Betty Joyce Rowland; his brother Donnie Rowland; his daughter Toyie Hembree; and his grandson Teddy Rowland.
He is survived by: his wife Julia Rowland; and his sons, Kevin Gatewood (Denisa), Ryan Williams, Adam Rowland and Joshua Rowland. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
