It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Jean Rose Walker of San Angelo, Texas, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wesley Rose and Jennie Rose; and her siblings, Marvin Rose, Melvin Rose, William Rose, Lillian Wright and Myrtle Zipper.
She is survived by: her children, Delores Riojas (Thomas Riojas) and Dwain Walker (Sheralyn Walker) of San Angelo, TX.; her significant other Tommy Watson; her grandchildren, Weldon Clark, Jason (Joy Walker), Amy (Aaron Busby), Travis Walker, Angel (Wesley Russell), Tommie (Jennifer Riojas) and Kayla (Billy Huffman); her great grandchild Jayden; her great great grandchild Mina; and her sisters, Rosie Fuson, Jeannie'Earlene'Foster and Thelma Nalley.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens (4989 FM Highway 1223, San Angelo, TX 76905).
