She was predeceased by: her husband James Lyle Smith; her parents, Charles Victor Brown and Agnes Lucille Bell Brown; her in-laws, James and Mary Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Candy Brown and Joel Jenson.
She is survived by: her sons, Philip Smith (Shelley) and David Smith (Michelle); her grandchildren, Alyssa, Walker and Colter; her siblings, Charles Duane Brown (Gina) and Sue Ann Brown Jenson; and her siblings-in-law, John Smith (Grace) and BJ Kirksey (Don). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery (13313 N Kelley Ave, Oklahoma City, OK 73131). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org), Educate Texas or the Pasadena Philharmonic to honor her dedication to education, music, and family.
