He is survived by: his wife Lupita R. of Cárdenas; his children, Dr. César Jr. Cárdenas (Jenna Kay) of Amarillo, Kassandra Kristelle Foote (Aaron Zachary) of Austin and Diego Cárdenas Ramirez of San Antonio, Texas; his grandchildren, César Cárdenas III, Luca Robert Cárdenas, Olivia Kay Cárdenas and Jackson Lawrence Foote; and his siblings, Hector M. Jr. Cárdenas (Deborah), Niriam Urbina (Martin), Donato Cárdenas (Vicky) and Irma Cárdenas. He is also survived by his daughter, sons, and grandchildren, always accompanied by the love of his life.
