He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Ferguson (Ferg) and Frances Finley Ferguson; and his brother Richard Finley Ferguson. He is survived by: his wife Judy Ferguson; his daughter Dena Ferguson Jenkins; his stepson Troy Martin (Rhonda); and his grandsons, Zach Martin (Paige), Hudson Martin (Jamie), Duncan Jenkins and Lyon Jenkins (Isabel).

Warren died a peaceful death in Austin, TX at the age of 87 after years of battling Alzheimer's disease.
