He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Macias; his children, Melissa Martinez (Garry), Celsa Aleman (Angel) and Daniel Macias Jr. (Janie); his grandchildren, Jeremy Martinez (Ailynn), Lyric Tudyk (Benjamin), Jordan Martinez, Haven Alvarez and Jayden Martinez (Madalyn); his sons, Josh Aiden Mejia of Jake Marcelo Macias, AJ, Isaac and Jacob Aleman; his great grandchildren, Landon, Alaia, Iris, Callie, Iver and Leo; and his brothers, Tony, Sammy, Richard and Michael.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Trevino Funeral Home (2525 Palo Alto Rd, San Antonio, TX 78211). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at 4415 S Flores St, San Antonio, TX 78214. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at the San Jose Burial Park (8235 Mission Rd, San Antonio, TX 78214).
