He was predeceased by: his parents, John Monroe and JoAnn Monroe. He is survived by: his children, Shannon Upshaw (Ross), Christopher Monroe (Kate-Frost) and Tanner Monroe (Allie); his grandchildren, Cohen, Weston, Stone, Ella-Kate, Dylan and Emma; and his siblings, Jo Lynn Powell, Robert Monroe (Gail) and Kathy Harding (John). He is also survived by her children and grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Dominion Country Club (1 Dominion Dr, San Antonio, TX 78257).
