She was predeceased by: her parents, Shep Clark and Betty Rush Whittsett; her husband Arthur Lee Evans; her sons, Larry Evans, Robert Earl Evans and Thomas Wayne Evans; her grandchildren, Marcus Shawn Evans, Archie Lee "Duke" Covington and Sonyetta Solis Cruz; her great grandchild Shamere Melvin; her son-in-law Ruben Solis; and her siblings, Ruby Brown, Ruth Horne, Oliver Fulford, James Boyd, Jim Boyd, Hubert Boyd, Fred Boyd, Sammie Boyd, Louis "Buck" Boyd and Walter Jiminson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Joyce Richardson of Trenton, Sharon Solis, Janet Covington Hicks (Darrol) of San Antonio, Texas and Dawn Davis (Andre) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; her grandchildren, Timothy Evans (Cynthia) of San Antonio, Timothy Evans Jr. and Pamela Youngblood; and her great grandchild Leslie Woods of Trenton. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
