He was predeceased by: his parents, Pablo Rodriguez and Francis E. Rodriguez; his brothers, Paul Rodriguez and Robert Rodriguez; and his brothers-in-law, Ross Sanchez and George Gonzales.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Rodriguez; his children, Rochelle Doty (Mike Doty), Denise Acosta (Blanca) and Gilbert Rodriguez; and his siblings, Ross Rodriguez (Maggie), Irene Gonzales and Linda Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
