She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Tausch and Corine Craig; her husband Walter Smith; her son Walter Smith, Jr.; and her great grandchildren, DW Phillips and Kennedy Couch.
She is survived by: her brother Richard Tausch; her children, Rebecca K. Rivas (David), Rochell Couch, Lauren Seay, Jonathan Smith (Patricia) and Matthew Smith (Julie); and her grandchildren, Melissa, Jeremy, Christopher, Steven, Trey, Jennifer, Matthew Jr., Tyler, Jared and Logan. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson as well as many extended family members and dear friends.
