With sadness, we share the passing of Juan S. Villanueva (San Antonio, Texas). Juan, born on November 11, 1942, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Villanueva and Guadalupe Villanueva; his former wife Annie Pete Villanueva; his daughter Sandra "Chicken" Sandoval; his son-in-law Ignacio "Iggy" Chavez; and his siblings, Richard Villanueva, Robert "Burrhead" Villanueva and Dolores Salas (Guillermo).

He is survived by: his wife Irene Villanueva; and his children, Guadalupe Isabel Chavez, Bobbie Jay Villanueva (Sean Mathues), Debbie Jean Thomas (Brandon Thomas), Juan "JJ" Sandoval and Daniel Rene Sandoval. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mission Park Funeral Chapels (3401 Cherry Ridge Dr, San Antonio, TX 78230). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
