He was predeceased by: his parents, María Vega and Luis Borrero Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Dilia; his sister Migdalia Clemente (Pablo Clemente); his nephew Pablo Luis Clemente; his sister Marisel Borrero; his uncle Moddy; and his aunt Hilda.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset North Funeral Home (910 N Loop 1604 E, San Antonio, TX 78232). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Thursday, October 29th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to a charity of one's choice, in honor of Luis's generous spirit and his lifelong commitment to helping others.
