He was predeceased by: his grandparents, EJ, Elisa Ortega, David and Dora Baltazar; his aunt Diane Garcia; and his cousins, Priscilla Cisneros, Jackie Natividad, Raul Garcia and Merida Ortega.
He is survived by: his parents, Elias Garcia Ortega and Doris Baltazar Ortega; his brothers, Christopher Elias Ortega (Diane "DeeDee") and Robert Lee Ortega (Bob); his nieces, Melina Gabriella Ortega and Erica Daniella Ortega-Diaz (Julian); his nephew Nathan Elias Ortega; his great-niece Jacklyn Diaz; and his great-nephews, Jaylon, Jericko and Javon Diaz.
