Justine Hopper wrote a sympathy message

“My name is Justine Hopper. I met Fr. Pat when he was Br. Pat, a Brother of Christian Instruction in NYC in 1972. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He has been a supporter to myself and my family throughout our joys and struggles. I met him when he worked for the Library for the Handicapped in NYC. Initiallly, he taught me how to type when no one else thought it could be done. He was there for me during my teenage years and my adult life. I will never forget him.”

Deacon Sean W Dooley wrote a sympathy message

“I met Father Patrick Martin on October 14, 2018, while attending as a participant, a Beginning Experience weekend, for those who have lost a spouse. I attended this weekend 10 months after losing my spouse, Kathi. The ember began in me on Friday evening of the weekend. The capstone for me was serving with Fr. Pat Martin at Mass on the last day of the weekend. There is more to this story, I'm unable to encapsulate in 230 characters. He is a beautiful man. Thank you, Father Pat for teaching me.”
