With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Eugene Meyer of San Antonio, Texas, born in Girard, Kansas, who passed away on November 24, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John C. Meyer and Martha Pearl Meyer (McWilliams); his sons, Douglas (Carol) and Kevin (Shanna); his grandchildren, Arlene, Mason (Tam), Garret, William (Audrey), Brooke and Nicole (Marcus Laurel); his great grandchildren, Ryan, Benjamin, Kynlee, Camden, Hudson, Emmerson, Olivia and Reece; his siblings' children, Sue McClintick, Shari and John Robertson; his friend Maria Acosta; his pets, Tia Marie and Vinegar Joe; his former wife Ardath Meyer; his wife Joan Motl Tucker Meyer; his sister Rhoda; his brother-in-law Bill McClintick; and his brother John C. Meyer.
Interment will be immediately following the service at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 17501 Nacogdoches Road, San Antonio, Texas 78266, In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the charity or organization of your choice.
