She was predeceased by: her parents, Rita LeeFacebook and Willie Ruth Robinson; her sisters, Linda O'Berg and Edna Goodman; and her son Michael Avery Giles (Kanyeka).
She is survived by: her sons, Leon (Velma), Edward (Deniesa), Kenneth Giles and Keith Giles; her daughter-in-law Sandra Giles; and her siblings, Marilyn A. Robinson and Douglas Trent Robinson. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many cousins, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the O. J. Carter Memorial Chapel (601 Center St, San Antonio, TX 78202). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Sharon Ministries (2030 Bible St, San Antonio, TX 78220).
