He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Cortez and Juanita Cortez; and his siblings, Antonio Cortez Jr. and Monica Trevino. He is survived by: his wife Ernestina; his children, Melinda Quinones, Arnoldo Cortez Jr., Mindy Cortez Barrientes of Xavier Cortez, J. T, Veronica Resendez, Eduardo Molina Jr. and Chito Molina; and his siblings, Amelia Torres, Gloria Leija, Ramon Cortez, Irma Sauceda and Isabel Romero. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.
