She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Hortencia, Arturo Castillo, Frutoso "Toto" and Carmen Mata. She is survived by: her parents, Hortencia Mata and Reynaldo Mata (Mei-Ling Mata); her pet Mei-Ling Mata; her brothers, Juan Carlos Mata and Reynaldo Mata; her sister-in-law Lilly Lerma; and her siblings' children, Adrianna Janet Mata, Alexander Mata and Adrian Orozco.
