He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Rivas and Isabel Gonzales Rivas; and his son-in-law Jose L. Gonzales. He is survived by: his wife Natalia Rivas; and his children, Alejandro Rivas (Francis), Ana Isabel Rivas (Hector Salinas), Isabel Cabrera (Rodolfo), Ida Tyler, Hilda Gonzales, Leticia McGraw (Jeff) and Alberto Rivas (Maria). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 51great grandchildren and 10 great great grandchild.
